Peach and Vidalia Burgers

You can enjoy the sweet and savory taste of grilled burgers with ripe peaches and caramelized Vidalia onions. These tasty summer burgers get a tangy kick from the creamy mayo-mustard sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup diced Vidalia onion
  • 2 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for grilling

Instructions:

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat

Put the ground beef, diced Vidalia onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl

Take the mixture and shape it into 4 burger patties

To keep the slices from sticking, brush a little vegetable oil on each one

Grill them for about two minutes on each side, or until they have grill marks

Take it off the grill and set it aside

For medium-rare, put the burger patties on the grill and cook for four to five minutes on each side

Add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and cover it for the last minute of cooking to melt the cheese

To make a sauce, mix the honey, Dijon mustard, and mayonnaise in a small bowl

Put the hamburger buns on the grill and toast them for one to two minutes, until they get a little brown

Spread the mayo-mustard sauce on the bottom half of each bun before putting the burgers together

After putting a lettuce leaf on top of the sauce, add a burger patty with cheese on top of that

Place grilled peach slices on top of the patty, and then place the other half of the bun on top of that

Warm up the Peach and Vidalia Burgers and serve them with your favorite sides
