Guacamole



This recipe for homemade guacamole is a classic hit that's great for parties, get-togethers, or just snacking. This guacamole is so tasty because it has creamy avocados, tangy lime, and a hint of spice from the jalapeo.

Ingredients:

  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-2 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 1 jalapeo pepper, seeded and minced
  • Juice of 1-2 limes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

Instructions:

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl

Mash the avocados with a fork or potato masher until desired consistency is reached

Add the chopped red onion, minced garlic, diced tomatoes, and jalapeo pepper to the mashed avocados

Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and season with salt and black pepper

Stir everything together until well combined

Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed

Gently fold in the chopped cilantro for added freshness

Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, burritos, or any of your favorite dishes
