I think I'll call this post 'Wow!'.

My youngest daughter and her childhood sweetheart stood before family and friends a few days ago and declared their eternal love to one another. They are now married.

Afterwards, everyone commented on how pretty the wedding was, but their main topic of interest was the obvious intense adoration and love Dwight has for Emma. "He was so focused on her it was unbelieveable'." "I've never seen a guy so totally in awe of his bride." "That young man is so in love with her. You don't have a thing to worry about there." "I don't think I've ever been to a wedding where the couple was so obviously completey and totally into one another."

Those were just a few of the comments we had. People were even posting it on their Facebook pages.

Cool, right? You bet. But what makes it even more cool is the fact that this is probably one of the most unconventional weddings you'll hear about.

You see, Emma is16 and Dwight is 18. No, they're not pregnant. They have just been head over heels since they were little kids. And nothing is going to change that.

Did my hubby and I get more than a few raised eyebrows over this one? You bet we did. And we probably still will. Emma is the youngest of 4, so it's not like we don't now what we're doing. We have our reasons.

Dwight is a marine and will be shipping out to Afghanistan in a few weeks. It was majorly important to them that he not go without her being provided for.

Young? Yes. Immature? Definitely not. These two have faced and conquered obstacles as individuals many adults never have to face. And they've done it together-just as they will continue to do 'til death do them part'.

God bless Dwight and Emma. We love you!
